Shelter Tasmania

In order to address rough sleeping and the housing crisis in Hobart, the Salvation Army and Hobart City Mission have started a pilot program called Safe Night Space.

The aim of the Safe Night Space is to provide a welcoming, safe and inclusive over-night place for men and women to go who are vulnerable, isolated and homeless in the City of Hobart. $450,000 is needed to bring this pilot program to life, and these two organisations are calling on community donations to help make it a reality.
