Funding Available under the National Homelessness Strategy. Services and and organisations working with people vulnerable to homelessness (both within and outside the homelessness sector) are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to receive funding under a new round of the NHS.  
Risk Management Seminar
Shelter Tasmania and National Community Housing Forum held a seminar in Launceston in June 2006 on Managing Risk in Community Housing Operations. The seminar was based on an NCHF publication published in early 2006 that contextualised world best practice in risk managemet for comunity housing providers. Participants had the chance to hear a risk management expert and a large rural provider from NSW talk about the benefits of risk management and how to integrate good practice into their business. Karen Andrew is the Executive Officer of the Central Tablelands Housing Assoc. and Chris Elenor NCHF new publication Managing Risk in Community Housing Operations: Concepts and Tools.
